Services for Adults
Often, the difficulties that bring us to therapy make perfect sense when we understand the experiences that have shaped us. What may feel like anxiety, overthinking, emotional overwhelm, self-criticism or feeling disconnected is often our mind and body doing their best to protect us in ways that once served a purpose.
Therapy is not about fixing what is "wrong" with you. It is about creating a safe, collaborative space where we can become curious about your experiences, understand the patterns that have developed over time, and find new ways of responding that feel more compassionate, flexible and authentic.
I work integratively, drawing on a range of therapeutic approaches to meet your individual needs. My practice is trauma-informed, attachment-aware and neuroaffirming, recognising the unique experiences, strengths and challenges that each person brings.
Sessions are available in person at the Evenflow Therapy practice. Sessions can also be offered online or by telephone where appropriate.

Alongside other integrative approaches, I adapt to meet each child's developmental stage, personality and individual needs.
While some children and young people prefer to talk about their experiences, others may find it easier to express themselves through creative activities, drawing, storytelling or other age-appropriate therapeutic techniques. There is no expectation to communicate in a particular way.
Together, we work at a pace that feels safe and comfortable, creating a trusting therapeutic relationship where children and young people can explore their thoughts, feelings and experiences in the way that feels most natural to them.
My aim is to help them develop greater understanding, emotional resilience and confidence, while supporting healthy relationships and emotional wellbeing.
Sessions are 45 minutes in length and usually take place weekly. Therapy is provided on a one-to-one basis with the child or young person, while parents or carers are offered regular review sessions to discuss progress, share themes, observations and ensure they feel supported throughout the therapeutic process.
Sessions are available in person at the Evenflow Therapy practice. Parent or carer review sessions can also be offered online or by telephone where appropriate.

Alongside psychotherapeutic counselling services, I provide trauma-informed consultation, training and reflective support for professionals working with children, young people and adults who have experienced adversity, trauma or attachment disruption.
Drawing on extensive experience within residential care, education and therapeutic services, I work collaboratively with organisations to develop understanding, strengthen relationships and promote emotionally safe, trauma-informed practice.
Support can be tailored to meet the needs of your service and may include:
-
Trauma-informed training workshops
-
Therapeutic consultation for schools, residential care providers and other organisations
-
Clinical consultancy and reflective practice
-
Support with understanding complex presentations and behaviours
-
Individualised guidance to promote emotional regulation, attachment-informed care and relational practice
Whether you are looking for a one-off training session, ongoing consultation or reflective support for your team, I offer a collaborative approach that is practical, compassionate and grounded in current evidence and clinical experience.
Please get in touch to discuss how we might work together.
