My work is shaped by a deep commitment to helping people understand the experiences that sit beneath emotional distress, patterns of behaviour and ways of relating. Through a trauma-informed, attachment-aware and relational approach, I combine evidence-informed psychotherapeutic counselling with curiosity, compassion and creativity, recognising that every person's story is unique and that support should be tailored to the individual, rather than the individual expected to fit the therapy.

Many people come to see me because they are carrying thoughts, feelings or experiences that have become difficult to manage alone. You may be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected, or simply aware that something doesn't feel quite right. Sometimes there is a clear reason why; sometimes there isn't. Whatever has brought you here, I offer a calm, supportive space where we can slow things down, make sense of your experiences together, and work at a pace that feels right for you.

How I Work

I work integratively, drawing on a range of therapeutic approaches to meet your individual needs rather than expecting you to fit a particular model of therapy. My work is trauma-informed, attachment-aware and neuro-affirming, recognising that our experiences, relationships and nervous system responses all influence how we think, feel and relate to the world around us.

People come to me for many different reasons, including anxiety, low mood, trauma, grief and loss, relationship difficulties, life transitions, self-esteem, identity, or because they simply want to understand themselves more deeply. You don't need to arrive with a clear problem to begin therapy. Sometimes curiosity is enough.

A Flexible, Individual Approach

No two people are the same, so no two therapeutic journeys should be either. Together, we'll find an approach that feels meaningful, manageable and responsive to your needs, creating a therapeutic relationship where you feel heard, understood and supported.

Working with Creativity

Alongside my work with adults, children and young people, I have a particular interest in supporting individuals working within the creative industries.

Creative work can be deeply rewarding, but it can also bring unique pressures around identity, uncertainty, performance, self-criticism and maintaining balance. I offer a reflective space to explore these experiences, informed by consultation with Dr Adam Ficek and a genuine appreciation of the relationship between creativity and emotional wellbeing.

Working with Neurodiversity

I have experience supporting neurodivergent individuals and aim to provide a therapeutic space that is flexible, collaborative and responsive to different ways of thinking, communicating and experiencing the world. Rather than expecting you to adapt to therapy, I seek to adapt my approach to best support you.

Children, Young People & Families

I also work with children and young people, adapting my approach to suit their developmental stage, personality and individual needs. Some children prefer to talk, while others communicate more comfortably through creativity, stories or other age-appropriate therapeutic activities. There is no expectation to express themselves in a particular way.

If you are a parent or carer, you may be concerned about changes you have noticed in your child or unsure how best to support them. Alongside individual therapy, I offer regular review sessions to help parents and carers feel informed, supported and involved throughout the therapeutic process.
